PREMIER LEAGUE

David de Gea was the game's outstanding performer. The Spanish stopper made a string of world class saves at Arsenal on Saturday evening. United won the match 3-1. He was named Man of the Match following his excellent display.

David Silva was Manchester City's hero scoring the winner to put them eight points clear at the top of the table.

The Spain international struck in the 83rd minute with a brilliant finish.

Álvaro Morata reached 10-goal landmark for Chelsea. The Blues secured a fifth consecutive home victory as they beat Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

Spain internationals César Azpilicueta and Cesc Fábregas were also in action against Newcastle United.

Manchester United ended Arsenal's run of 12 home league wins. Nacho Monreal played the full 90 minutes.

 Alberto Moreno was not included in Liverpool's match day squad.

ITALIAN SERIE A

In Italy José Callejón and Pepe Reina were both in action for SSC Napoli and played the full 90 minutes.

Juventus ended Napoli's unbeaten start in Serie A.

Suso Fernández lasted 87 minutes for AC Milan in their 2-2 draw against Benevento.

Luis Alberto played the full 90 minutes for Lazio. Lazio beat Sampdoria 2-1.
