The Spanish Women's U17 squad to play Finland on Friday 18th May at 6pm CET in the Marijampole Stadium in a fight for a ticket to the final and another for the World Cup in Uruguay

The Women's U17 squad is a match away from the EURO. The rival to beat is Finland, who beat the Netherlands, in the final group stage match and qualified as Group A runner-up behind Germany.

The semifinal will be broadcast live at 6pm on the UEFA website

After qualifying top of the group, Spain is in search of a place in the grand final and in high hopes of sealing a place in the World Cup, which will take place in Uruguay.

Statistics bode well for Toña Is' side, which has won seven of the last eight semifinals in this category.

Precedents and victories

Spain and Finland have only played each other on one occasion, where the Spanish side came out on top in a 3-0 win.

This will be the Spanish squad's fifth semifinal in a row.
