Satisfaction for the Women's U19 squad after their first win against Northern Ireland: "The team is excited"

PEDRO LÓPEZ

Analysis: "We're very happy with this first win, which was not easy. They made things tough for us and these first three points are important because they allow us to start on the right track."

Score: "There have been shots of all kinds and pretty clear chances. We created chances, dominated the ball and cut their counterattacks. I think the win gives us the confidence for the remainder of the championship."

Rivals: "Usually the teams against which we play try to steal our ball when in offense. Both Germany and Scotland are strong teams which will try to make the most of our mistakes."

Vibe: "The players are excited. We are aware that it's a step in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go for the big aim of qualifying for the World Cup."

Germany: "It's always a tough rival to beat and it's also a team that motivates us. We will try to do our best, to prepare it well and I am sure it will be a balanced match. Our players will give their all."

"We had many chances, but we'll save those goals for the match against Germany"

DAMARIS EGURROLA
Northern Ireland: "We expected a team which would close up, given it was the first match and they played at home. In the end we managed a pretty good result and take the three points, which was the main goal."

Chances: "We expected another goal. There were plenty chances, but we'll save those goals for the match against Germany."

Next match:  "We're looking forward to playing against Germany. We'll try to prepare the match as best we can and will go for the win."
