It is the qualifier stage for the next U21 EURO, which will be hosted in Italy and will serve as a qualifier stage for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

Spain has been drawn into Group 2 alongside Slovakia, Iceland, Estonia, Albania and Northern Ireland, currently in the lead after beating Estonia 1-2 in Tallin on June 8th.

Only two matches have taken place this far with a win for Northern Ireland against Estonia, who drew with Albania

The Estonian capital will welcome Albert Celades's men in the start of the new qualifier stage on September 5th. Estonia lost to Northern Ireland in their first game and drew with Albania in the second match played.

This new European Championship will count with players born from January 1st 1996 onwards.
